A whopping £12 billion worth of clothing goes into landfill each year and in the UK we buy more items of clothing per person than any other country in Europe, which made the centre want to team up with Love Not Landfill to help fast fashion lovers buy second-hand, swap, recycle and give to charity.
Clothes Swap Shop was launched on a Saturday this Spring. We designed and built a bespoke pop-up clothes shop swap set, which was all reclaimed, recycled or repurposed to tie in with the big sustainable theme.
A super simple and stylish footfall and dwell driving concept, which saw a whopping 780 clothes, shoes and accessories donated and swapped and all within 5 hours.
