The Case of the Missing Colours

Angel Central had lost all its colour this Easter… and it was up to us to bring it back!

The Brief

Angel Central asked us to create an engaging Easter half-term activation that brought energy and discovery into the space.

Following the recent opening of their new Søstrene Grene store, their ambition for the event was clear: capture attention, spark curiosity, and encourage visitors to explore the centre, with a clear focus on drawing people up to the first floor where the new store is located!

The Magic

Angel Central’s ‘The Case of the Missing Colours’ brought innovation and imagination together for an Easter experience with a twist.

The interactive trail followed a playful narrative: The Easter bunny’s paint pots were accidentally knocked over, and the world lost its colour, and it was up to the children of Islington to bring it back!

Guided by Harriet Hops-a-Lot and Benny Bobtai, little helpers journeyed through the centre in search of bold, single-coloured paintbrush installations and vibrant vinyl paint splats hidden in store windows. Each discovery helped bring their pallettes and Angel Central back to life!

The Wins

The activation delivered a joyful, hands-on experience filled with creativity, laughter and a lot of Easter magic!

With 450 kids (and 372 grown-ups joining them), we had a total engagement count of over 820 shoppers across the 5-day live activation!

The event was met with strong positive feedback from both visitors and the client:

“We worked with the team at Moo & Goo to deliver the Case of the Missing Colours Easter event at Angel Central. They produced a creative, well-executed family trail that offered a lovely alternative to a typical seasonal activity and was well received by visitors!”
