In 2024, Glasgow Fort asked us to help deliver a unique Christmas experience centred around a brand-new roaming activation that had never been seen before.
The activation needed to drive festive family footfall, create memorable and engaging experiences for visitors during the Christmas season, increase the centre’s social media engagement, and encourage visitors to explore and engage with Glasgow Fort’s annual Christmas Market.
Our Christmas at the Movies activation launched at Glasgow Fort, bringing festive film magic to shoppers throughout the holiday season.
Each weekend, we rolled out the red carpet for a spectacular month of Christmas movie-themed entertainment, featuring special appearances from iconic Christmas characters, including The Grinch & Cindy Lou, Buddy the Elf & Santa, and most importantly, our Moo & Goo exclusive Wet Bandits.
Our mischievous duo, Harry & Marv, arrived with one mission in mind: to spread festive chaos and deliver crowd-pleasing comedy (even if that occasionally meant getting themselves into trouble with retailers along the way!)
With every passing weekend, excitement around these iconic Christmas characters continued to grow. Whilst we knew everyone would love them, we had no idea that they would totally blow up!
Not only did our Wet Bandits hit all of Glasgow Fort’s objectives, but our Harry and Marv look-alikes also went viral on social media following their appearance!
A TikTok featuring our Wet Bandits went viral globally, reaching audiences as far as Asia and beyond. The content generated a mind-blowing 23.3M views, 1.3M likes, and over 170K shares (and counting!) across TikTok and Instagram.
Our Wet Bandits well and truly turned Glasgow Fort and Moo and Goo into a viral sensation!
